I don’t know if !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is a pre-act of Congress MUTT, an “assembled with new parts to avoid ban” MUTT, or an “imported from another country and hope they don’t notice” MUTT. I’m leaning #3 due to some... stuff. Regardless, it is a MUTT. For sale. In the US.

The Hebrew stuff may just be a very Jewish owner, or it may have been in Israel at one point. WHO KNOWS?

I looked into the operational info a little, and this is a first-gen, later version. So, turn signals, but still FLIPPING DEATH rear suspension. I know the DoD was barred from selling these to the public, and there exists a NHTSA memo recommending that they are “unsafe for public highway use”, but exactly what the legality would be on a re-imported IDF one, I don’t know. Very possibly legal to own, not sure if legal to drive on the road.

Looks like it would have belonged to the IDF at some point.

It’s definitely dressed that way. It’s not impossible for military vehicle folks to paint their ride in this or that livery contrary to how it started, which is why I can’t be 100% sure, but that seems like an odd choice unless the owner is... hyper-Jewish? Anyway, Occam would say IDF resale is most likely, which means re-import.

Or was restored from IDF parts rather than a re-import, if the bones were already in the US.

The unibodies were outright B& for distribution. Supposedly, the drivetrains were, too - although some people were able to finagle surplus drivetrain parts (spares) that hadn’t been installed in a vehicle (or something like that), and to weld bodies back together from scrap or other shenanigans. Getting one in any kind of legal state in the US used to be, at least, a ridiculous song and dance and deep sorcery of the may or may not be legal depending on who’s looking at it kind.
